HOW TO APPLY A VINYL DECAL/STICKER

Step 1: Clean the desired surface you want to apply the decal to.

Step 1 - Clean:

Wipe the surface you are applying the decal to clean of any dirt/dust with a mild cleaner. Allow to dry thoroughly & remove ALL leftover cleaning residue before applying.

Step 2: Peel back the transfer tape.

Step 2 - Peel Back Transfer Tape:

Carefully peel off the clear transfer tape layer from the backing layer (white or blue). Make sure that the transfer tape pulls the vinyl decal up with it.

If the decal is not sticking to the transfer tape, you can lay the transfer tape back down & rub the tape on top of the decal with your fingers to generate heat & make it stick to the tape.

Step 3: Apply the vinyl decal.

Step 3 - Apply Decal:

Slowly place your decal on the desired surface, ensuring there are no wrinkles or air bubbles. Use a credit card or your fingers to rub & smooth the decal onto the surface & work out any air bubbles.

Step 4: Remove the transfer tape layer.

Step 4 - Remove Transfer Tape Layer:

Now, remove the clear transfer tape layer by peeling it off, starting from the corner. Peel it slowly at an angle to ensure it does not peel the decal off with it. (Only the vinyl decal should remain).

If the transfer tape is pulling the vinyl decal off with it, try rubbing the decal down with your fingers & applying heat to make the adhesive bond to the surface.

IMPORTANT Additional Tips & Care:

  • It's best to apply the decal in warmer weather if applying outdoors. Cold weather may cause issues with the adhesive not bonding to the desired surface properly. If applying in cold weather, be sure to apply a thorough amount of heat when applying the decal.

  • Be sure that the surface you are applying the decal to is completely dry & cleaned thoroughly - free from any dirt, dust, & leftover cleaning solutions.​

  • Decals are made from heavy-duty, outdoor-grade, weather-resistant vinyl. They are water-resistant, but NOT waterproof.

  • Do NOT wash decals in dishwasher. Hand wash ONLY. Do NOT soak or use harsh chemicals for cleaning.

  • These decals are not made for fabric or rough, textured surfaces.
